Tom Orewyler counsels clients on strategic communications and marketing in high-stakes environments. For the last 15 years, he has developed successful programs in thought leadership, reputation management, digital and social media, internal communications, content marketing, public relations, multichannel marketing, issues management, crisis communications and executive communications.
Tom is a trained advocate and problem-solver. He began his career as a journalist and lawyer in Los Angeles. Later, he led the communications teams at elite, global firms that include Davis Polk & Wardwell, Debevoise & Plimpton, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Tom works with clients in industries that include legal/professional services, banking and financial services, asset management, real estate, technology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, insurance, energy, retail, higher education, and industrials and manufacturing. He enjoys relationships with a range of Tier-1 business reporters in media outlets worldwide.
